A ray of hope in the Upper Lusatian gastro sky. We were yesterday for the first time in the Grenzschänke with the new landlords. And go back again. Mrs. Lindner was very unfriendly to me. I cannot understand why the reviews from their previous restaurant are used to evaluate the not even opened house. The choice of food is completely different and very sparse.

We had lunch at Ratskeller Linder today. The welcome was very friendly, the menu small but very fine and the culinary experience worth every penny! We were there for dinner today. Here you can eat very well! We had a very good pumpkin soup and then the leg of lamb or tortellini. Both were awesome. The staff was very nice and above all attentive! If you appreciate good food and on regional and seasonal dishes is just right! We will definitely be back.

Excellent cuisine with even better staff which in the region in days like this seems to be more than a stroke of luck. The boss herself often stands at the bar and greets the guest after several visits in person and with recommendations that hit the nail on the head. We found ourselves in the Ratskeller celebrating the golden wedding of my parents there, in small groups. Already the reservation was processed very quickly and confirmed, with the remark to decorate the table according to solemnity. Said and done! Already on entering the Ratskeller one notices that the restaurant was renovated with great attention to detail, the entrance area, the basement area and especially the guest room, from which one can watch the cooks while preparing the food. The welcome was warm, we chose the menu to celebrate the day, our little one was a small Viennese schnitzel of veal, which he ate quickly. The menu consisted of a pumpkin soup with roasted pumpkin seeds and a kind of pumpkin chutney. It was the tastiest pumpkin soup we have eaten so far. As a main course veal was served with chanterelles and shitake mushrooms and pumpkin gateau. A very tasty and refined dish, the meat pink and tender cooked. Incredibly delicious. For dessert, a chocolate cake on pumpkin chutney and vanilla ice cream with various nuts was served. So you can not describe how tasty it was. You just have to try it. We were more than thrilled, and I was very glad that the choice of the restaurant on the Ratskeller has fallen, thanks again to family Lindner for the great service, to Mrs. Lindner for the great advice and for the wine recommendation (the hammer) and Mr. Lindner for taking care of our little boy in the kitchen, it was a charming evening that we did not expect! Price performance is more than good, the here with great effort everything regional and freshly cooked .... Absolutely try!

We enjoyed a fantastic 6 course meal. 😍 The kitchen is excellent ☆☆☆☆☆, everything was wonderfully coordinated, the service was sensationally good, Lindner's are present and very personable. It's great that you can watch the master chefs doing their thing through a huge glass window in the dining room. We are thrilled and very happy to come back! 👍😊

Based on a recommendation, I made my way to Dohna in the Lindners Ratskeller today. I was welcomed very friendly and was very impressed with the location. You can watch the kitchen staff at work through a huge glass pane! You can see fresh ingredients being prepared there and you can taste it too. I chose a duck breast with mashed sweet potatoes and I was really thrilled. Everything really fit! It really tasted as tasty as it can be seen in the picture. This restaurant rightly deserves the rating. The duck was tender and fried to the point, the taste of the sweet potato mash was indescribably good and together the dish left nothing to be desired. The price / performance ratio is absolutely okay, because here you get great service for your money, competent staff with specialist knowledge and a meal that consists of fresh ingredients. You can also see how your food is prepared when there is space on the window. I can only recommend a visit to the Lindners Ratskeller!

Dohna, the second oldest city in Saxony with its historic market, presents its "Ratskeller", now "Lindners Ratskeller Dohna", which was first licensed in 1817, in a new guise. Eight years ago I celebrated my 65th! The location cannot be recognized. Only the knight Jeschke on the corner of the building, on the left above the historic arch entrance at Markt 1, has been standing on his console for about 668 years. Lindners reinterpret the Ratskeller with warmth, friendliness and freshness. The guest is spoiled with culinary delights that are both regional and international. The price segment is wide-ranging, the food and beverage offerings are well dosed and, above all, delicious! The "specialty" is the large arched window in the council room to the kitchen, where the guest can look over the shoulder of the cook while preparing. Furthermore, the cellar vaults impress with large and small council cellars and wine cellars. Very suitable for family celebrations! Debit and credit cards are accepted for payment. Wi-Fi is not available here, there is no wheelchair-accessible parking space, and there is no access to the historic restaurant. This historic restoration at the historic market in Dohna with an old Saxon post pillar in front of the door is worth a visit!
